Statton Hammock

Principal

Statton helps companies establish, expand and protect their most valuable intellectual property assets.  He advocates at ICANN, INTA and before government agencies around the world for stronger regulations and policies that support the rights of brand owners and protect consumers and Internet users from fraud and abuse.  


Previously,  Statton was Vice-President, Head of IP Strategy, Government & Industry Relations for Clarivate’s Intellectual Property Group which includes leading IP companies: CompuMark®, Derwent®, Darts-IP®, CPAGlobal® and MarkMonitor.® Statton has also served as legal counsel for several domain name registrars, registries, and aftermarket providers including Network Solutions, Enom, Rightside, and NameJet. 


Statton received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia and holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maine School of Law.

Statton has both a business mind and a lawyer mind, allowing him to navigate thru complicated waters to get to the best solution for both his company, client, and partners.
